In our CNC Router 101 class, you'll unlock the art of precision woodworking by bridging the gap between traditional and modern woodworking using CNC machines. You'll start by designing your own coffee tray using Autodesk Fusion 360 (a personal laptop is recommended but not essential), then learn how to program the CNC router by creating a G-Code program with Fusion 360’s manufacturing extension. The class includes hands-on experience setting up and operating an industrial CNC router at Made In Workshop, as well as finishing the workpiece by cleaning and deburring it for a professional finish. By the end, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of how to design a basic product, program machining strategies, and operate a CNC router.
